We are looking for experts, in France or abroad, in the areas of Networking, Digital Society and Digital Science

Forum Numerica is the seminar and webinar series from the Academy of Excellence on "Networks, Information and Digital society" of Université Côte d'Azur, which gathers together researchers from 10 partner laboratories/institutions and 2 associated laboratories.

For our 2021 agenda, we are seeking talk proposals, either by you or by other potential speakers that you would like to suggest. We are looking for experts, in France or abroad, in the areas of Networking, Digital Society and Digital Science, the three pillars of our Academy of Excellence. We expect our speakers to deliver a talk with a general introduction of the domain, accessible to a public of diverse background and interests. Moreover, we would like them to provide in the sequel sufficient technical details to trigger the curiosity of an expert audience.

Talks can be fully online (in the form of webinars), or physically hosted at Université Côte d'Azur* while also streamed by Internet. Our seminars are one hour length, including a Questions and Answers session of around 15 minutes.

Proposing a talk or a speaker may be an opportunity to promote your own research project or be the starting point for future collaborations with other institutions.

The proposal procedure is simple and can be done at any time from Forum Numerica web page.

Applications will be subject to a review process, which aims at fairly sharing the slots between the different pillars and topics. You will be notified of the acceptance or not of your proposal at least one month before the requested seminar dates. Then, if your proposal is accepted, we will proceed with the formal invitation.

Questions or suggestions? Please feel free to contact us at forum-numerica-contact@univ-cotedazur.fr or contact any member of the committee.

*Restrictions to host physical meetings might apply.
