DS4H has been built around the expertise of the Labex UCN@Sophia that gathers all ICT education and research actors on a single site in Sophia Antipolis.
At the heart of DS4H, UCN@Sophia is recognized as a flagship project in the domain of computer networks. It delivers the core expertise and the internationally recognized excellence in research needed to build a successful, visible and attractive projects.The Labex UCN@Sophia was awarded by the French Ministry for Research and Higher Education through the competitive call "Laboratory of Excellence" (Labex) in the context of the government fund for "Investments for future" in 2012. The program is running over 8 years (2012-2019). It was granted a total budget of 5.5 M€.
