A call to support highly risky exploratory research projects with significant potential for scientific, technological, and even economic impacts, related to the scientific fields within its scope: digital sciences and technologies, their use and acceptability.

 

DocWalker RISE Academy 2024 (PhD Students International Mobility)

Opening of the call: 2023, September 25
Application deadline: 2023, December 15
Start of funding: 2024, January 31
Closing of envelopes: 2025, January 31

This call for mobility aims to allow PhD students at Université Côte d'Azur, within the scope of the RISE Academy, to spend 1 to 3 months in a foreign academic research laboratory. This doctoral stay should contribute to the scientific advancement of the thesis through the additional expertise of the foreign laboratory hosting the doctoral candidate. It must be in line with the thesis subject and does not prefigure the possible extension of the thesis duration decided by the doctoral schools STIC, DESPEG or SFA.

The first call of the Academy Networks Information and Digital Society was closed in September 2016. 25 proposals have been submitted in response to this call. 10 proposals have been selected for funding. The successful rate is 40%.

In response to the very diverse and highly technical calls for projects launched by European and national funding institutions (European Commission, French National Research Agency, regional councils, Fondation de France, etc.), Université Côte d'Azur has created a single office, the Europe Research Office, whose mission is to assist the members of the research community and their research and training projects.
