Scientific Publications and Signature
Be part of Université Côte d'Azur outreach!
You get no university of international standing without a strong policy of scientific signature!
Université Côte d'Azur is extremely vigilant about respecting its signature on all publications and productions from its laboratories, research teams or creative teams.
In particular, it is a prerequisite for the recognition of the Université Côte d'Azur by the peer community and its presence in international rankings.
DS4H Publications
A common scientific signature for Université Côte d'Azur
- How to sign a publication?
-
Since July 1, 2016, all publications from Université Côte d’Azur laboratories, research teams, and other structures must comply with the common “signature” or author affiliation policy of the members of the Université Côte d’Azur.
The use of this signature is imperative.
Université Côte d’Azur has elected to use the following order:- Université Côte d’Azur is listed first to highlight the common vision of the community (the abbreviation "UCA" cannot be used because it is already in use by other institutions).
- Next, the names of the establishment or organization that the laboratory or research team belongs to should be listed. At this level, it may be relevant to begin with the employing establishments; this order has been imposed, for example, on Inria researchers within joint project teams; it is recommended for others (with the exception of Université Côte d'Azur teacher-researchers)
- The abbreviated name of the laboratory, and this name only, follows the names of the establishments or organizations. Do not include extended laboratory names, numbers of the UMR or Inserm unit, etc. The extended name of the laboratory and its different identifying numbers should be provided in a footnote, unless another format is imposed by the journal or publisher.
- The address should be limited to the country only. The complete address of the laboratory should be provided in a footnote, unless another format is imposed by the journal or publisher.
