Message from the Directors of the SITE and SV Portals and the EUR DS4H, LIFE, and SPECTRUM

The departments overseeing the Science, Engineering, Technology, Environment & Life Sciences (Bachelor’s) programs and the DS4H, LIFE, and SPECTRUM (Master’s) European University Networks (EURs) have observed a sharp increase in cases of cheating during exams.
Cheating has serious consequences for all students. It leads to unequal treatment, and its widespread occurrence devalues your degrees. It cannot be allowed to continue.

Students caught cheating are brought before the institution’s disciplinary committee. The widespread nature of the cheating observed has led us to impose stricter penalties. From now on, any confirmed case of cheating may result in a definitive suspension from the program for a minimum period of 6 months.

We remind you in particular that the use of any electronic device whatsoever during an exam is considered a case of cheating. All communication devices (cell phones, watches, earbuds, smart glasses, etc.) must be turned off and stored in bags. The discovery of a communication device in a student’s possession during the exam, whether used or not, will be considered cheating without exception. Additionally, the exam proctor may use a detector for communication devices during the exam.

The only exceptions to these rules are those explicitly granted to you by the exam proctor during the exam.
