Get ready for your projects!
Following the success of the 2024 edition, which led to the selection of five innovative projects, the 'Networks, Information, and Digital Society' Academy of Excellence is relaunching its 'Ideas' call for expressions of interest in 2025. This new call offers a great opportunity for researchers wishing to lead exploratory research projects with high scientific risk and significant potential impact.
A Look Back at 'Ideas 2024'
Launched last fall, the 'Ideas 2024' call highlighted innovative projects in the fields of digital sciences and technologies, with a particular focus on their scientific, technological, and societal impact. The goal was clear: to support ambitious and promising initiatives through a rigorous selection process.
The procedure took place in three phases. After the initial submission of project ideas, candidates received guidance to refine their proposals before moving on to the final evaluation by experts in the field. This approach allowed for the selection of five outstanding projects, recognized for their originality and innovation potential.
Financial Support for Large-Scale Projects
In 2024, a budget of €296,000 was allocated to fund the selected projects. This funding covered various essential aspects, such as:
The recruitment of four post-doctoral researchers,
Internships,
Participation in thematic schools and national and international conferences,
The acquisition of experimental equipment.
Congratulations to the 2024 laureates!
