A unique conference dedicated to the career paths and work of women in the digital sector.

Rarely have so many women gathered on the SophiaTech campus!

Coming from all over the world, nearly 150 women attended the ACM-W Europe womENcourage 2026 conference, organized by Karima Boudaoud (i3S, Université Côte d'Azur, CNRS), with the goal of highlighting the career paths and work of women in the digital field, as well as creating opportunities for meeting, sharing, and networking.
Among them were four students whose participation was supported by EUR DS4H: Oihane Fabbrini, Rania Taha, Cylia Haddoum, and Lina Gasmi.

Special kudos to Lina and Cylia, whose poster—on the topic of cybersecurity, their minor as part of the Master 2 in Computer Engineering program—was selected!
Their topic? Understanding users’ perceptions of privacy issues when they interact with AI systems.
