New Operations on Words

About the Project

This project aims to study a new operation on words that we called "jointure". It was introduced a few years ago in the context of symbolic dynamics bus has since been somewhat overlooked. We have highlighted a variety of interesting properties, including a new characterisation of subshifts of finite type.
