Stand Up for Science: defending scientific research

Université Côte d'Azur has joined the "Stand Up For Science France" initiative, led by the Udice - French Research Universities alliance, to denounce the threats to scientific research, particularly in the United States.
In this context, the University took part in the national day of action on March 7, mobilizing its academic community on the Valrose campus to reaffirm the importance of an environment conducive to the development of science and knowledge.

European support essential for research excellence

In today's rapidly changing geopolitical context, Université Côte d'Azur is one of the first signatories of an open letter addressed to the leaders of the European Union. Initiated by The Guild of European Research-Intensive Universities and League of European Research Universities (LERU), the letter calls for unconditional support for excellent, high-impact European research.

Scientific diplomacy and the French-speaking world: an international commitment

Université Côte d'Azur has a strong vision of scientific diplomacy and Francophone cooperation, illustrated by two highlights of the "Universities, Francophonie and Multilateralism" (MOODS) project:

  • Simulation exercise in Brussels on the fictitious entry into force of the treaty on the conservation of marine biodiversity. This event brought together students and teachers from several international universities, reinforcing academic cooperation on global environmental issues.

International cooperation and climate commitment

Université Côte d'Azur was invited to the University of Cambridge's University Climate Engagement Workshop to share its expertise on academic engagement with climate challenges. The event provided an opportunity to :
