Forum Numerica Call for Speakers

We are looking for talk proposals

Forum Numerica, the seminar series from the Academy of Excellence on "Networks, Information and Digital society" of Université Côte d'Azur, is looking for talk proposals either by you or by other potential speakers that you would like to suggest.

Proposing a talk or a speaker is a good opportunity to widely promote your own research or start a future collaboration.

Talk Content

We are seeking experts, in France or abroad, in the areas of Networking, Digital Sciences, or Digital Society, the three pillars of our Academy of Excellence. We expect our speakers to deliver a talk with a general introduction of the domain, accessible to a public of diverse background and interests. Moreover, we would like them to provide in the sequel sufficient technical details to trigger the curiosity of an expert audience.

Application process

Just send an email to forum-numerica-contact@univ-cotedazur.fr providing the name, affiliation, possible topics of the talk, at least two months before the talk desired date.

Format

Forum Numerica seminars take place on Thursday afternoon and are typically one hour long, including Questions and Answers. Talks can be fully online (webinars), or physically hosted at Université Côte d'Azur and simultaneously streamed on the Internet.

Financial support

Financial support may be provided for travel (train or plane, taxi) and accommodation (1 or 2 nights in a hotel) of the speaker, as well as for catering of the seminar. We organise the seminar in the premises of the Academy's members, therefore there are no charges for room rental.
