PhD (doctoral program)

DS4H Graduate school delivers PhDs in Computer Science Automatic, Signal and Image Processing Electronics, Digital Law, Economics and Management, and Education Sciences.

You need first to look for a PhD supervisor belonging to the Information Technologies Doctoral School (ED STIC), the Humanities and Social Sciences Doctoral School (ED DESPEG), or the Societies, Humanities, Arts and Literature Doctoral school (ED SHAL), whose research activity copes with your scientific whishes. Do it preferably before the end of your Master and contact a few of them. See if they are interested, if they propose a PhD subject for you and be careful to inform them immediately when you have made a choice. All PhD students must benefit from 3 years funding to register. With the help of your potential PhD supervisor, inventory the possible 3-year funding sources and apply to the appropriate programs.

  • Once your PhD funding is secured, you must apply through the ADUM Platform (click here if you need the user guide).
  • Once your registration is complete, you will be integrated in one of the DS4H partner laboratories, which provide the material and scientific environment needed. All partner laboratories are renowned research institutions with long-standing practices for leading doctoral projects.
  • You will be required to follow 30 hours per year of complementary training from different sources: DS4H minors, seminars, and dedicated courses on research and teaching
